Inpatient Program Admission Process

Inpatient Admission Criteria

To be eligible for the inpatient program a patient must:

  • Fall into one of these patient types:
    • Skilled nursing care for HIV/AIDS
    • End-of-life care for HIV/AIDS, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) or Huntington's disease with a life expectancy of less than six months
    • End-of-life care for any other illness limiting a person's life expectancy to less than three months

  • Be over the age of 18

  • Be a non-smoker (tobacco, marijuana or any other substance)

  • Have insurance coverage or private payment ability. These include:
    • Medicaid
    • Some contracted private insurance companies
    • Private pay (contact the admissions office for the current daily rate)
