Inpatient Program Admission Process
Inpatient Admission Criteria
To be eligible for the inpatient program a patient must:
- Fall into one of these patient types:
- Skilled nursing care for HIV/AIDS
- End-of-life care for HIV/AIDS, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) or Huntington's disease with a life expectancy of less than six months
- End-of-life care for any other illness limiting a person's life expectancy to less than three months
- Be over the age of 18
- Be a non-smoker (tobacco, marijuana or any other substance)
- Have insurance coverage or private payment ability. These include:
- Medicaid
- Some contracted private insurance companies
- Private pay (contact the admissions office for the current daily rate)
